steering lock stops

hi all, i have a set of volans on 215/45 tyres and they scrub on full lock, ive also lowered the car 60mm, ive heard the c70 blue lock stop blocks will help (although they reduce the lock drastically). can anyone confirm / deny this and help with part numbers etc. cheers guys
