    I totally agree but a friend of mine a while back tried some tinting film on his black focus that was running 80w headlight bulbs and within 2 weeks of use the film had melted and ruined his lamps. Although his were plastic lenses.

    You'd be safer IMHO splitting the lenses from the reflectors and painting the silver covers black. Seen pics on the net of a few that had been done, just gotta be careful and thorough in revealing the lenses afterwards.

    Black eyebrows for 18 quid off fleabay would look the mutz on a black R. Mine has black surrounds inside the light clusters if any of you R boys wanna swap? (light cluster that is)

    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    well i got round to having a go at doing the tint stuff,
    not too bad to work with,but end result wasnt too bad for my 1st attempt lol,

    tho the lights are a wierd shape and diffrent angles,had a few moments of problems but it turned out ok in the end.

    in my build thread i did it a different way by spraying the glass, it can be done
