    T5 tubular manifold

Is there an off the shelf manifold available anywhere?
(Getting near to my claim pay out (had a good first offer but you always turn down the first))

I have seen them for the focus, and when I was talking to them they reckoned it would fit.

But, I can't remember who made it!

    Might have been these:

The manifold I was looking at was tubular though

The only problem i can see is clearance because theres not alot of space at the back on the engine, just get a s60r manifold and port it out.

    Holy thread resurrection!

I already have an S60R manifold - however if I want to run a GT series garrett, which has a T25 exhaust housing (genuine garrett part) - issue is how to mate it up? Turbo Dynamics say they wont hybridise a GT2871 with a T3 housing?

Any ideas how to get around this problem? Will said T3 manifold fit my cylinder head?

I was concerned that with an adaptor, it would make things difficult on firewall clearance. But obviously not!

As you can see, there's plenty of clearance.

Mine is running a T25 flange too, I had a T25 flange welded to the end of a ME7 manifold, then retapped it all.

Will serve me better - less change of direction. Online research tells me it should clear & has the option to run an external wastegate should I want to.

I have emailed them to double check about clearance & fitting.

    http://j-w-racing.co.uk/product.php/...d_focus_rs_mk2

If it goes on the newer T5 engines (2006 onwards) - I can't see why it wouldn't fit the older stuff.

Only issues I can see is that the orientation of the inlet housing would have to be rotated. I am also wondering about the WG position?

    Same one I posted

If it is the same company I spoke to at Ford Fair 2011, they were sure it would fit the 850 engine, if fact they said as it was designed to fit in the focus engine bay, we should have no problem as 'ours' is bigger.

Check out brickboard (or something similar) which shows you can't fit one in the older models unless you want to run the post turbo hose downwards. You have to put the hot side on the passenger side and compressor on the drivers side (RHD). Not worth the effort for the power gain.

Imagine how the P-II models are running and you'll get the picture.

I've been exploring options & online research
    http://forums.t5d5.org/topic/19147-t...d/#entry216744

drew me to this... - http://www.lgspeed.se/produkt.php?kategori=16&id=72#

Wrote to LG Speed - Lars was not convinced it would clear the brake servo - which is a real shame.

I have not heard back from J W racing yet. I have tried phoning them, but no joy.

I guess I am either going to have to weld on a T25 adaptor OR get something made OR use a different turbo that has a T3 inlet as standard.
