    Go to 17"

    I am in the process of hopefully securing some 17" alloys for the T5, they are volvo upgrades from standard so just wondered if i needed to change the wheel nuts at all or is it a case of remove 16's and put 17's on?

    Thanks for the help.

    just take the wheels off and put new ones on mate

    Many thanks, will do if i manage to procure.

    As mines an ex plodder i dont have any of the books, any ideas on the torque loading for the nuts, or can it be found on one of the stickers on the car?

    These should be the correct torque settings.....

    VOLVO
    740, 760, 780 Series - 1998-83 63
    850, 940, 960 Series - 1998-91 63
    C70 - 2003-98 81
    S40, V40 - 2003-00 81
    S60, S80 - 2003-99 103
    S70 - 2002-98 81
    S90, V90 - 1998 63
    V70 - 2003-01 103
    V70 - 2000-98 81
    XC70 - 2003 103

    Thats interesting Graham, I've always used 85 ft/lbs Mines a 1999 V70 so you are saying I should be at 63?

    I just turn it til my shoulder clicks - like a biological roeque wrench.

    never failed yet lol (although I have snapped a couple of spanners)
