The EBC ones i had warped and were so noisy. Not sure whats on my S70 now but they are drilled and seem to be ok just the noise can be a little annoying sometimes if driving with the window down.

It would be more cost effective to change to a bigger brake setup if you're regularly cooking your brakes, or slow down.

Not really these are the 3rd set i've had, 1st were 280mm then 2 sets of 302's.

Unless you can get a big brake kit for £300 as this is what 3x sets have cost me inc pads i think not... But i reckon i will be heading that way soon as it would seem the only option.

of course your right i could buy a citroen instead of the t5

Hi when you remove your wheels then refit then do you use a torque wrench to do up bolts.
I you don't this can get the discs to have a runout if you over do it.
Drilled discs crack that I know.
When you fit new discs do you can you use a dial guage as if you have a small run out when new it will only get worse when the brakes are used hard.

I said slow down, with a Citroen you wouldn't be going anywhere.

It was a serious question, they seem to last me around a year? then warp.

Got mtec dimpled and grooved on mine, went for a"spirited" 120 mile drive around north Wales today and never faded once, even on standard pads and i was very hard on the brakes. Discs dont usually warp nowadays it could be crap between the hub and disc, cost me £130 ish delivered for a full set

I always make sure the face of the hub is clean, the slider's are greased, and also the caliper carrier is free from debris.

Mtec, may give the a look. Cheers Dan

I've been using standard Brembo 302's on my AWD for over a year now and they are fine, no sign of brake fade with my spirited driving, no noise and no sign of wear either. Could work well with some better pads, I'm using genuine volvo pads.

I go Brembo Max grooved discs and EBC yellow stuff with ATE blue racing fluid and its good for playing around the town.
Took it for proper spin and was disappointed.
I think good braking is a combination of engine braking and good quality brake discs and pads.
