    know anything about saabs?

    saab forums hopeless..got one of those aero hot things and it was running hardly any boost.got that fixed and was alright till today.bang,no boost atall.drove home alright.blew some small hoses off.anyway put them back on and its reving itself and the boost guage it going spare..unplug the maf and its ok if a bit smokey..any ideas?

    UKSaabs is a good site.
    Make sure you have the pipes on the right way.
    Check the grommet/pipe things on the rocker covers. Mine used to blow out on my 9000.

    takes ages to get an answer..if it improves with the maf out does that meen its knackered or ok?

    I think the mafs fine. If it runs better without it, that's an indication of another problem by the sounds of it. Just sounds air leak related to me though. Mate had the same, and he tried running it like it. Soon gave up though.
