    Clutch hydraulic pipe.

    Hello,
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, whilst fitting a new air filter box for a cone filter, I noticed the hydraulic steel pipe for the clutch, which runs in the plastic mounting for the air filter was corroded. After cleaning it, it wasn't as bad as it first appeared, but it could of caused a lot of problems if left untreated, so it has been painted before fitting the new filter box.
Just thought I'd make 850 owners aware of it, before they get dropped in it!
    Regards
    Mick

Before you get too excited, I'd check under your battery tray as well. Really stupid place to run it, as mishaps with any battery acid will rot it out there too. Did mine and I didn't notice until the fluid shot out from a split. If it has, swampy can supply a braided line cheaper than a stock replacement.

Wouldn't know about that, mine doesn't go under the battery tray.

If you've got an 850 it should do. Double check...
