    S60 Tyre Sizes

Hey, is it possible for me to run 235/35/19s all round on an S60 or are the fronts liable to rub at all ? Just seen 4 Brand new Pilots on Ebay i might bid on. Cheers!

They would maybe only foul the inner guards, take out them out if necessary,

I know they are different models but i ran 235/40/18's on my S70 and oonly fouled very slightly on full left lock,
Losing a profile and going up a inch in wheel equates to the same,
You should be ok with it unless you have a sports suspension on your car.

    Gary.

PS If they do rub fit 225/35's
    V40 2.0T Sport Lux Titanium grey,(03) 133k,standard
    Yamaha R1 5VY,(06) 180bhp/165whp,100nm

Its all down to what offset wheel you will be running. If you get it right you should be OK. HEICO run 8x19 wheels with 235/35 tyres with lowered suspension with no rubbing. I think the offset is 38mm

S60's with the standard 18's run 235/40/18's and they only rub on full lock so i carn't see them been a problem

I think 255s are the widest that'll fit on a 8" rim but it depends on the tyre and the profile.

If you really want 265s on the back you need to be looking at a 9" rim but it does beg the question of why do you want wider tyres on the the rear of a front wheel drive car? It may look cool but handling on the limit (ie just before you have a big accident!) will be adversly affected.
