I think it's best to keep the car key on its own so it won't rattle or mark the paintwork, it can sometimes upset the immobiliser chip in the key to receiver. But that's just me sorry.

PS got a link for it .....

So you took a perfectly good gearknob, that had one small chip in it, but had the numbers on it, and matched your interior, and got it dipped in a different colour wood effect that now hides the numbers. You could have done that with your plastic one.

    Oh, and yes, very sad.

But then my lardy arsed friend, I wouldn't have my original knob to put back on when I decide I don't like the wood one (thought I'd say it before you did)

No, my shiny headed chum, but, you can get the plastic ones easily, from any scrappy.

Had a great day out yesterday with Sarkey San and M-R-P, the car needed a good run and I had a few bits to swap over, can you spot the difference......

    Before

    After

I'll be honest and say I did like the Green 'sick' covers but I'm pleased with the way the Black ones look, hoping to have the fuel rail painted to match.

I also changed the 'knob' over for the wood effect one, doesn't 100% match but I think it's better than the Grey one.....what do you think ?

Looks loads better, though shame about the gear knob being a different colour. I've seen the other photo, I didn't expect my knob to be treated that badly.
