Just to show you all I'm not totally useless, I used a power tool this morning (don't tell M-R-P) to drill holes so I could attach my wife's number plate to er.....my car

Just to let those of you who don't know, I'm definitely not fitting the intercooler to the car.

After chatting to Simon (deathrider311271) today and weighing up the positives and negatives I sold it at the 'Ace cafe' meet to Jim who will I'm sure put it to far greater use than I would have.

Hahaha actually it was partly Simon (a Northerner) saying it took him a day and a half and was a right pita to do.

To be totally honest Graeme, I am very happy with how the car is running and although there would have been a slight improvement in spool up from the new intercooler there are also things that could have gone wrong.....I wimped out and played safe

It's not as if he'd be fitting it anyway, Martin or I would get that privilege.

no wonder he sold it if hes waiting of you fitting it. his car will be tax exempt by the time you sort it out

In all fairness to Martin and Steve I'm sure they would have managed to fit it should I have asked them to but us Southerners are poor, we can't afford heated garages with 2 post ramps to work in

One of the biggest improvements/gains was to fit the larger FMIC - but it really does depend what you want to end up with and what turbo choice you run with. You always struck me as more of a BKV type rather than a racer/tuner.

I think his 1/4 mile times prove that.
