    Coolant problem

    Hi guys
I've just join yesterday and hope so one can help me I've got a Volvo v70 2.5 10 valve. It started to overheat yesterday evening and the top hose from the radiator was hot but the bottom one was cold I got the car home and check it today started the car waited for it to get to normal temperature and the fan kick in but both the hoses where cold so I disconnected the little hose from the top of the radiator the the head tank and the water was coming through so connected it back again then disconnected the top hose next to the thermostat side to see if the water was coming through and it wasn't just it was like having a dripping tap on so I think it a thermostat just what to make sure I'm right with what I think ?

Change the thermostat anyway, its only a few quid. Sounds about right though.
