hi all does anyone no how to select comport1 on this software im using the klite vagcom lead and it keeps bringing up needs comport1 any ideas anyone lol

You could change the settings of the lead to use a different com port in windows device settings

thanks think the problem im having is i cant find deve manager in the control pannel and cant seem to find any settings options in the volfcr software

Good old motronic suite. Haven't touched it for a bit as my 850 is off the road.

got a spare ecu to play with so cant break anything important lol would of thought there would be some shareware t5 maps on there as theres a few for the saabs have you had decent results using it?

Yeah, changed the injector constant, boost map, ignition map and various other things, mine is motronic 4.4

Yes, always use a spare ecu in case things go tits up.

There are maps around if you look buddy

dont suppose you got a link to any just intrested in what else is avalible ive tried most off the shelf maps ie rica / hlm /sw im on a stage 2 mte at the mo

another quick one mr bomb when i read the ecu on motronic suite am i rite in thinking it doesnt remove the map from the ecu it just copies it to the pc sorry to be a pain lol

Hiya mate, the only ones about are probably not as high a stage as yours.

Yeah it does only read the map, erase doesn't happen until you come to write the new map.
