    Another busy day

    The sun was out and it was time to refit the engine/gearbox/subframe.



    The poly tie rod arrived yesterday in the post so it was soon fitted.




    Here`s a short video of the old girl running ( soory about the sound )



    Just the wheels and the bumper to fit tomorrow and another 850 lives again

    The pipe is made up of a 90 deg and 2 x 45`s welded together.Then sprayed in alloy wheel silver.

    So did you grind down the weld's and smooth some how??

    These are mine but would like the "smooth" look lol

    Made mine out of steel and yes I smoothed off the welds to make it look like one pipe. I did the same on the turbo inlet pipe.

    The alloy welds on your pipe look the nice

    Smile All done

    Last little job was to change the 850 speedo for a V70 one.

    After



    Once the speedo had been fitted went out for a quick spin to make sure everything is OK. Oh my god she`s an animal !!!! The 3" TB has made all the difference, no turbo lag, better throttle responce and a louder hiss from the DV
    The alloy subframe bushes and poly wishbone bushes have made a big difference, better road holding and not to much vibration through the steering wheel.

    Are you going to fit a boost guage, as you've lost the one from your 850 dials?

    I have a boost gauge mounted on the "A" pillar.
