    Head Gaskette set

As per title has anyone bought a genuine volvo Head Gaskette set before?.. do they come with the stem seals and what sort of price are they?.. I know PartsForVolvos sell them but tbh after my experience with the handbrake cables I'd sooner buy genuine for something like a headgaskette. ..Oh and I'm finally going to do the valve stem seals incase you where wondering.

If the head's off then he only needs a valve spring compressor.

Oddly enough I have my valves out at the moment.... had to use a deep seat spring compressor.

I've always used a socket to fit the valve stem seals, one that fits snugly over the seal lip.

    Clean shiny Inlet valves

Yep we used to use a socket but on a couple of occasions in the past it did damage the spring round the edge so for the sake of £17 just got the correct tool

I've done head rebuilds in the past on stuff like crossflows and Pintos so I've done stem seals before, I have a valve spring compressor too, plus I have access to a spare head to rebuild so I can just swap it over.. That said.. I will bear that head in mind James, though god knows how Id get it off you.
