    Anyone fitted 20's??

    Hello all!

Quick story short, my father sold his Audi S5 last year, the Kahn RSV alloys he bought for it are still in the lockup. My question is, would 255 -35 -20inch wheels fit under the arch of a P2 V70 T5?! I know adapters would be needed for the fitment 5x112 to 5x108 iirc and possibly offset. But would huge 20's even fit?

I have my doubts, but theres always hope!

They'd go in the arches ok, so long as it's not too lowered and you'd probably need 35mm spacers, and you'd need to remove the arch liners

    Remember - P2s rub with 225x45x17s

Should go, but ideally you want 235/30/R20, so with the stud pattern being wrong, the offset possibly wrong, and the wrong size tyres, it's going to be a lot of hassle to make these wheels fit.

fitting 19s to my C70 was problematic enough - rolled arches caused loss of water resistance in the rust resistant coating - hastening the emergence of rust. Big rims never stay nice for long. On balance I'd stick to nothing bigger than 18s

Same as MRP and Stribo I think the tyres will be a bit wide.

Bearing in mind 19's on my R didn't do the ride any favours

Might be cheaper to just buy the A5 and fit the alloys.
Plenty of good Volvo alloys out there. Or even some 19" Peg reps

I had a feeling it would be a pain to do. Cost wise the wheels would cost me nout. its just the adapters & arch rolling etc. so could be a cheap alternative to buying rep pegs (if they fit!)

Might not be as cheap as first thought...

Adapters are roughly £150 an axle

to change the 255 tyres to 235 wide tyres can vary from £110 to £200 each...

So before you know it, youve spent the same amount as you would have done on some new rep pegs with tyres that were made to fit the car in the first place

The wheels in question... The offset is 32... so am i right in thinking ill need 15mm adapters anyway to get the offset up abit?
