i got a pipercross panel in my T5...... theyre all pretty similar, no noticable difference in performance but it made induction sound nicer..
& im sure they let more air through than the paper filters... so im happy!!

Ive got a k&n off the c70
Ditch the panel filter and the top half of the airbox and get a big cone...

Pete my missus could end up cursing you lol and I really dont want to go down the cone filter route, I always get wary of heat soak

You only get heat soak when the car is stationary, once on the move its fine.

lol the k&n i have is for the standard air box
Dont waste yr money on that get an ind kit mate
and I have just a standard air box on, trying to keep the car looking as standard as possible really
