You can buy the PCV kit from the main dealers, for around £70

Its under the inlet manifold, if you have a Haynes (Others are available) it's fairly easy to do

Not a bad job for a diy mechanic mate should take you about 4hrs, its located under the inlet manifold, just make sure you have a 1/4" ratchet and extensions and a wobbly bit

Don't think there is a set time.

Its easy to check, remove dipstick while the car is running, if you get smoke coming out of the tube, the PCV need is blocked, and needs changing, and don't forget to unblock the PTC, where the big hose on the PCV connects to the air intake (its just in front of the turbo)

Hi chaps just spent the last hour removing all the manifold and bits to do the pcv got it all out and it looks mint not blocked? But I've got mayo on the dipstick and in the breather from the catch tank to the intake pope but still can blow down it freely?? The ptc was clear as well apart from a little mayo on top?? Any thoughts?? Or is this normal of a blocked pcv?? Just concerned about the mayo building up in the dipstick tube. Cheers guys.

you will get mayo on the dipstick in cold weather its just condensation on the metal dipstick mixing with the oil, it shouldn't be anywhere else though
