    How to clean the engine

Slowly getting round to detailing my engine bay and used the megs 40 on all plastics so far with gleaming results, what does everybody use for the top of the actual metal parts of the engine? as my metal is all unshiny :-(

Halfords have a set of 3 toothbrush like brushes, they are a nice size for getting into nucks & crannies.

Carlach special cleaner - degreaser is good, as is IRON X soap - for removing the grime.
