will v70 door handles fit on a 850?

will v70 door handles fit on a 850? Fancy going down the colour coded look of the v70 door handles not fussed over the lock working as i got remote locking and i can alwasy get in through the boot(I dont have dead locks if that makes a diffrence..
I am sure someone said it was pretty easy but whats actually involved in doing the swap,I know it can be done as seen a few 850 with later door handles on them.

I have them on mine, bit of a pig to fit and the lock is completely different on 850 to v70 do key won't fit but I use the remote and use the boot lock for central locking if something goes wrong!!! I paid £20 for the set off a member and got them sprayed at work.

I got two passenger side handles so i could have the drivers side delocked allways get in through the boot if get a flat battery lol

I managed to modify the lock on mine to fit the 850 door lock. Fitting a V70 door lock should work if you want the key.

thats what i was thinking of doing as well,I know where i can get handles cheaply and a extra passenger side one so i can do away with drivers door key lock..
just then got to get them painted once i get them(not getting them till end of april as the person isnt breaking the car till then(just a standard boggo v70 not a t5/v70r) and i have already sorced a extra handle for drivers door..

yes they do fit mate i have 960 door handles for my 940 they are like the v70 ones mate

why not paint the 850 door handles and keep your locks.............it's not hard just use the right paints

yes these fit you just have to file a few millimeters off the v70 lock stem on drivers door as its longer than the 850 version
