Cruise control stopped working... Ideas ?

Hi all, I noticed today whilst trundling along the motorway that my cruise control doesn't seem to be working, i used to use it quite alot but neglected it lately as I used the back lanes to work.

    Any ideas on possible causes??

All suggestions will be welcomed as I can narrow down the problems!!

    Thanks in advance

Check your ABS rings that sit on the back of the hub. If these become corroded the sensor cant pick a signal up for the cruise.

Maybe that's the problem... someone stole the vac pipe...

You also have a diaphram under the steering wheel area. See if it's knackered along with pressure switches at the clutch & brake pedals

I had a problem with mine on my 850 T5 - I changed the indicator stalk for one from a scrapyard and all was well.
