    Wiper motor replacement

    Hi

I have tried to change my off side wiper motor, and assumed that it would be as simple as removing the bumper, undoing a couple of bolts on the motor and putting a new one on..

But I was wrong, i think

The motor did not want to come out without, i think, the removal of the headlamp. Or is there a canny trick to wiggle and remove?

I didn't want to wiggle too much as I was pushed for time.

Any suggestions? It is a V70R if that makes a difference!

    thanks

Hi did mine drivers side a while back removed bumper, also removed head light to get the space to fit also the wires to plug were a bit short as the R front is that bit longer. Fitted one from eBay for £15. But not for a R.
Also renewed the wiper stop bracket as broken, when wiper parked not level.

Also when your in there remove both wiper arms (if you have bumper off you will have done this) and grease up shafts ,just pull off the covers by hand ,as they seize up over time with weather.
