    Code reader

Hi everyone, my lamda light is currently on but still seems to be running well although when changing up I get a slight chug low down. Feels like a fueling problem to me but im not sure? Is there anyone around the warrington area with a code reader that i could possibly meither for a reading, or could I be so cheeky to ask if someone could kindly lend me one if i cover postage costs? (im a trustworthy man dont worry although I might not look it lol) not exactly minted at the moment so i can't really afford to buy one unfortunately

    Cheers
    Tom

Sounds a little bit like what mine is doing? Try your idle valve, and weirdly had an ac fault, temp repair on that and its alot better

Does it hold on to the revs when you change gear?

Yes it does slightly mate, if you sit at idle then rev the engine it seems to run away slightly also before going back to idle, is this what yours was doing?

Its more when you change between gears, i plugged the sensor back in for the aircon behind drivers head light ant it no longer does it, but its been unplugged for ovrr 18 months without issue which is weird.

Sounds a bit coincidental to me, what would the air con have to do with the engine running over?

I read somewhere that the ac pressure switch tells the ecu to add more fuel when it kicks in

    Ok so I got 1-2-1, 5-3-5, and 4-2-4

Any ideas lads? I'm not sure of the fault codes. Am I right in saying it will be the motronic 4.3 codes on the 1996 850 t5?
