1996 Volvo 850 AWDThe 850 has an engine problem, changed the head gasket and it is still using water, so it is being taken off the road and I'm hopefully going to get it sorted.
So my new runaround.....
Just a 2.3 NA I'm afraid.
Only one question, what do I do with it?

Thanked 356 Times in 276 PostsI did have the 740 2.3 HPT i believe 180/190 bhp and once the turbo is on the older single overhead cam 2.3 engine you have to tread careful as the mpg is horrendous, as low as urban 18mpg and mine only averaged 23mpg yes it went ok but so did the fuel.
Why don`t you wait and get the T5 moving again and save the money. Use it as you said your new runaround.
