There aren't any, not for that car anyway. Only remapper i know of is HLM in Bromsgrove or you could speak to Stuart at SWAUTOS in Biddenden (GOOGLE) as he is an authorised seller of BSR ppc.

Cross the bridge to lakeside and go AMD really good there. Well worth a phone call see what they say!

Lipscomb Volvo dealers in Maidstone and Canterbury are RICA agents.

Thanks for the replies. I am waiting for Lipscomb Maidstone to get back to me. Called them on Friday morning, said someone would call me back. No call yet :-)
I loooked at BSR but their ppc boxes are over £600!
I had my old RS6 mapped at AMD and I was not that impressed.

    Hi Matt

Yes it is. Not being dynoed during this process AFAIK.
They are supposed to be 260BHP standard. Hope it should be close to 300 afterwards.

I am in Hythe, Kent and although Ashford Lipscombe is closer to me i use Canterbury and my S40 id booked in next week for the alternator pulley replacement. I would not recommend Ashford!

Do you have any idea on cost, have you seen the prices on the Rica site??

Did you know there is a Dyno place at Rochester and also Newington just up the road from you £50 a throw. I worked at Sittingbourne for about 12yrs early `70`s.

    Hi Keith

£449 incl VAT for the RICA remap.
I am not too worried at the moment about a dyno, might get it done later.
I have lived here for almost 7 years now, moved from Bromley.
    Where did you work?

So when you said "recommendations for a remap in Kent" you really mean it. Is it going to combine GPS in such a way that it reverts to standard beyond the Kentish border? LOL

    I know :p I have a 2.4 T5 myself.
I'd be interested to see your results compared to the Autotech remap that I have on mine.

Definitely get a Dyno. The 2.4 T5 is a tricky one to map and can have weird results. I had a map put on before my autotech map and the car just hated it - had to get it removed. Peter the guy from autotech understands the 2.4 very well and so the map was perfectly designed for the engine, as you can tell from the 321bhp

Hopefully the RICA map will be good. I will let you know what I think of it.

Hi mate, I've used the one in Sittingbourne, BD Engineering it's called. This was a few years ago but at the time the max he could measure was 270bhp at the crank. May have changed now though.
    Grey 855R Manual. Totally standard.

Thanks for the info. There is also a dyno over on the island at CPL Racing.
