    my day today

followed this on the way to work...

since last satdy at hlm and my boost issue they managed to get my boost back but has been peaking at 1.5bar see below \/
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4SoxP1bB50[/ame]
so i've drivin very carefully all week, its bloody hard overtaking without foot to the floor....
but anyway i undid the actuator 3 turns today and its now at 1.1bar

and hamish also said that it was running too lean high in the revs so suggested changing the fuel filter and/or pump....
today i changed the filter also

once the pipes were off i gave them an inspection...

that red bit you can make out is this blocking the feed...

its the first time i've touched the filter and i've had it 18 months and the filter looks older than that so who knows how long its been like that but i'm well chuffed i found it and feels a lot better

That was a lucky find, something in your petrol pipe.

I got to work today, to find my van had a puncture!

Good work! I think the filter gets over looked a lot of the time, but it's one of the easiest things to change

Blimey that must have restricted the flow somewhat! I wonder how it got in there and where it came from...

Craig came to Wobbly Towers to drop off a battery for Frankie - I saw the humogous plastic chip that was fowling the fuel line - that cannot be good!?!?!

solve one problem and another presents itself...
left Daves and went to the vets and gave the actuator another turn up while i was there only to find the car leaking boost at 1.2 bar and ticking over at 1200rpm so when i got home i popped the bonnet i found this...

    i love the easy solutions

Ooh, nasty! at least no harm was done. Looks like the clip was too tight or the pipe was a bit cheap
