    yeah cos it wasn't wheel spinning its way half way down the track and was still a second slower, and was so low the front didnt lift on acceleration

    Exactly, it could put the power on the road. Your problem isn't the weight as much as its the trouble with putting all your power down.

    You thought about getting an ebc, one where you can have different boost levels in different gears?

    i know but im not gonna chop the springs down or take the mbc off, yet to see someone on here that has got an ebc to work proprerly

    but he made 238whp at 4200rpms which is the midrange where mine made 286whp with 353lb ft with lots of boost and to be fair he was quite easy to get past on the straight at cadwell lol

    my v70 had no lsd or m59 and i could not get no traction until 3rd gear and then the car shot off lol.and i was only running 1.34 bar jamest5r is going to run a min of 1.6 bar that should be mad on the track.

    Generaly is easy to get passed when the other person is indicating, and off the throttle, just as the MX5 drivers found it easy to get passed...

    You can't really use that as an example, thought I do appriciate you car is more powerful, and in a drag race, yes, i'm sure you'd be ahead.

    but i wasnt always right behind you until i caught you up lol, probably your fault i span off trying too hard, as i saw you coming towards me as i span round lol, i suppose you still have a 15g too? if so i dont believe that torque figure

    the is 1 way to find out mate come to york on the 3/6/12 because its not always down to power that gets you down the track mate.and i cannot wait for all the banter to start before york because frankie is still in a dream world thinking hes going to beat me pmsl.

    I'd love to, but the Volvo came off the road today whilst my VW project is being done. Maybe 18 months till it's back on the road...
