Silly question, but have you checked that the 4 screws on the lifting mechanism are tight?

Meet Abby, an elegant lady... Still, very willing to go topless in public. All I gotta do is push the right buttons...

Your's was a really nice motor too. Do you not fancy coming back to the C70 fold?

Not a silly question at all mate. I've not had chance to look at it at all as yet, and all I can say is that my simply pushing up on the sunroof whilst driving solved the issue.

This rattles a lot and even when you shut the door after getting in the car. I will gladly pass on anything that I learn when messing with it. Main thing is that it doesn't leak in!

He drove very well thanks, and stuck to the road like glue. Just the sunroof vibrating was the only downside, but HappyGilmore78 did mention this when I was buying him. Hopefully that's a minor thing, and I like things like that to sort anyway.

I worried myself when starting the thread! Foammanmark and Victoria or Vicky would be OK, but Foammanmark and Victor, I know where you're coming from!

4 Screws have been tightened already buddy - if you remove the plastic clips from the side, you will see the 4 screw, but are tight at the mo.

If you push the sunroof whilst like this, you will see the movement - I reckon, which was my next thought it could just need a new seal, as over time it may have thinned??

To get round the rattle, I closed the sunblind, which dulled it, and also put roof on vent, which stops the rattle, and still works if raining as its not open as such - well, until you find out what it is.

Just to add, it is rain tight, just an annoyance I guess more than an issue.
I created a genius, who outgrew my teachings, and is now being mentored by a new sensei! Live long Victor!

Yes, it'something and nothing mate, but it's funny when you mention something like this, that it becomes apparent that it's a common issue, like tailgate vibration on the p1 V70's.
