The general opinion on this is use the genuine volvo ones. Coil packs can be an issue, oh and do run the car on 98 Ron minimum.

most people say Genuine Volvo ones and will argue the toss that even though they are made by either NGK or Bosch they are to a specification only available to Volvo to help the car run at its best.

Personally I think its Balone and I run NGK's from Halfords.

It drives exactly the same as when i took out the genuine Volvo plugs the previous owner put in.

Having fitted my old Volvo plugs to another T4 that was running rough and which solved the running issues, that was all the proof I needed. Volvo plugs which BTW, should only set you back £20 odd quid. Why pay more when something else might make it run worse?

Because my local Volvo dealership is a 60mile round trip and the parts department is never open when I am not at work.

Halfords is on my way to work and I have a trade card haha

personally i'm using genuine volvo parts for anything needing replaced on the t4, plenty getting broken online and you're not taking a chance whether it works or not, like when going to a breakers, as the seller can give you a bit of history on the parts being sold..

I've always had ngk platinums, Volvo plugs are made by Bosch and ngk there just not allowed to put there name on it. No difference. Made under licence to Volvo.
