    1997 960 3.0L 24v - Polestar...(Honest guv..!!)
    1997 855 T5 S - stripped to 1300kgs gross weight - 14.2sec qtr(rank 17*)
    2001 V40 T4 SE - 14.199@100.15MPH - Hybrid Turbo/VXR injectors and DeCat(Rank 15*)

    Retro turbo is a member here and he's using my photo on EBay.. Bit of free advertising for the site.

    And no they won't be covered(well that's the plan).. See them in about 12months..

    Sorry but I am going to ask a stupid question - but I assume the pulley adjustment is to manual offset the valve timing. How can this be used to tune a car & how would that work within an ME7 context?

    I suppose it is a question for Hamish Tim and Russell.

    Basically it is electronic tuning versus mechanical adjustments. You have to remember I live my life with all the "gear and no idea!!!".

    Most cam timing are set very soft from the factory, to make the engine smooth, making valves open earlier/later can give more power

    For what I've seen, some people block off the VVT part, and run locked cams

    I am just curious - I understand the idea of opening the Valves earlier - there is already VVT on ME7 on the exhaust time. I am intrigued by permanently changing the timing manually & what a permanent advance may do to the torque.
