Thumbs up Did some work on the old girl today...

Had a bit of time this afternoon so I thought I'd make a start on some of the bodywork that needs doing.
Some of you may remember the trolley-damage that annoyed me a while back, during the windy weather...

So I set about stripping the interior so I could get at the back of the dent.

I used my second fav tool to remove the dent (1st being a chainsaw and not suitable for this application) a hammer. some of the paint cracked a bit so a bit of wet and dry and touch - up paint was called for and although it still needs a bit of work, I ended up with this...

After my relative success with that job, I thought I'd get some of the stone chips and rough plod-resprays tidied-up and then it was a case of wash, clay, wash again, wax and top coat. Some pics...

I even had time to wash the brother in law's honda (no pics of that thing tho )

Note to self... clean camera lens before taking pictures of shiny things lol

Nice result with the dent, looks almost the same place that mine was! Only you had the skills (and balls) to fix it yourself

LoL the Honda got a quick squirt with the pressure washer and a wipe with a sponge, was faster than the immigrants at Sainsburys

Thanks for the comments peeps, now she's mechanically sorted, I thought it was time to get the pretty bits up to scratch too. Anybody who has seen the big sweed in the flesh will know she's tatty to say the least. A long road ahead methinks

need some decent alloys. Pegs have been done to death - A/M 18s would be good.

I really like the alloys on the new V/S60 (on my other thread). My current rims, although very fit for purpose, look crap and have taken a bit of a beating. Thought about referbing them, one at a time (I have a set of 5) but they'll still look like boggo standard Volvo P2 alloys, no matter what condition they're in.

I have seen one or tow ixis alloys (I think that is what the V60 ones are called) on the bay of E.
