2000 c70 2.0 turbo remapping

Hi all
new here and need some advise please
i would like to remap my c70 to get more power and have been told i have to take the ecu out and send it off and been quoted £250 to £300 for this i am in essex is there anyone local and is it any cheaper seems a bit steep to me also is it worth doin or should i wait and get a 2.3 t5 i am a new volvo owner and love em.
any help would be great

As I said on your other thread, get yourself a T5 and map that. It's gonna cost a bit more in fuel, insurance etc but will be worth every penny when you destroy an Msport down a sliproad

Yes as long as it's in an 855 body shell......lol

The 2.4 T5 is the strongest engine for big power but you'll be in the realms of ME7 engine mis-management and thats a pain. If its a T5 and has a distributer cap, you're larfin

There is a lovely C70 T5 for sale for less than a grand in the classifieds - Bigshrek IIRC.

iv had a read bit to far otherwise i would have gone and had a look have you seen it?

No - i've not seen it but for that price you are hardly likely to be out of pocket.
