    Temp Gauge

Ok I am now having a few issues with the temperature gauge. I recently had the orp sorted and found out the turbo is shafted and since then the temp gauge has been down a notch and a bit. I know its been damn cold but today hasnt been and its still at it.

Here is a pic, its usually just round that area even when I have been driving long enough for it to get to the right temp. Its usually two lines up. So, any suggestions as to what is going on?

    ,.,

    from the radiator top hose,
that goes to a domed alloy caseing on the engine,
the stat is under the dome,3 torx screws/bolts hold it down,
but be carefull undoing them as they tend to round off or snap...

    this might help.
    i read that wrong lol,
the stat is under the dome, the temp sensor is screwed into the housing below the stat, you can see the wire to it,its a bit tricky to get to but its easier with the stat housing top off.

if you got a pair of mole grips you should be able to get a good bite on it and undo it,
done a few like that, once its started it usualy comes undone.
