    Unhappy ****just won't start!!!!!!!?*****

    Hey hope u r all well and not suffering with this cold weather.I am posting for help with a friends 850 t5 estate,failed mot on fri for emmisions being sky high.Drove it home and parked it up tried to start it today and it won't go for love nor money?.It has fuel and a good spark,have swapped maf sensor for known good one,cleaned idle control valve,checked air hoses,it had lambda six weeks ago.The car has always smelt rich yet run fine over last 6 months,have been advised possible cam sensor? any ideas or help welcome.

    just had the same thing on mine, try a "working" rev sensor,located on top of the gear box above the flywheel, not far from the cam sensor and the plugs are located on the same bracket

    My t5 auto wouldn't start ended up being the coil

    mine was cam sensor but it wont spark so try the flywheel sensor pal
    BLACK PEARL IN DA HOUSE ARRRGGGG!!!!!!

    mine would not tickover...........turned out to be gearbox speed/rev sensor
    took me £400 and 8 months to find out

    Thanks guys for you help,i think it was the rpm sensor personally.But he has now lost head with it and scrapped it!!!
