Chassis number for 850R?

Hi, just phoned my local volvo dealer for an 850R clutch for my 850 t5 and he said he cant identify the part without a chassis number...apparently not even a part number will do? :S

Can anyone help please? apparently it should start with YV

but your dealers talking rubbish, i often give them the part number to save alot of hassle. I buy stuff not intended for the 850 either so have no reg or chassis info for them
