    Urrmm in a word YES!

The snow guard usually blocks the intake up completely hence at least why I removed mine. I dont carry it around in the boot though "just incase of snow" so funily enough steam out of bay decided to happen.

Im not entirely sure how it would help though as snow stuck to all plastic so either way the car would be recieving no "fresh air"?
    Ok Mate

I see what your saying! hope all is well with the car!!!

I didnt mean for that to come accross the wrong way greg! I just dont understand the theory behind the snow guard.

That said if it wasnt absolutely essential and also the best time at night to travel I wouldnt have made the jorney home and would have pulled out the sleeping bag and a book!

Well done lads, always good to know there are people out there ready to help others when needed, especially in this weather.

You wouldn't fancy fixing a small oil leak on mine would you? its nothing much just the RMS

I wouldn't ask for a job like that anyway mate, just trying to decide if i should sell it how it is, stating the problem and taking £300 off the asking price or get it fixed then sell it.

No worries I know you did not mean it that way mate sorry if i sounded of as well? I answered in a hurry! lol

Nope i always remember the snow guards pointing down over the top of the Rad & IC! I i remember people taking them off as we never really used to get that much snow!

But now days with Global warming the weather is different lol

So did the front grill its self get blocked? or the pipe to the air filter get blocked?

    Cheers Greg

It was just the pipe to the air filter that was blocked. The grill had a light dusting around the edges but that was it.
