i'll get my moneys worth one way or the other, no-one will make a monkey out of me,
Some would take those words as threatening behaviour which would be a tad silly on an open forum.
Gary has offered a refund on the parts he's sold you, obviously recompense for labour etc is another matter, but at least an effort is being made to find a solution.
Hope you guys sort this out without it getting out of hand.
Steve
its not as simple as that though is it?, its i drove 90 miles to take the box off its the 90 miles emlyn on the friday drove to help me, its the 6am start and another 75 mile drive emlyn and joe made to help me (do most of it) in the dark and snow at -1 degrees all day and the 4hr drive home emlyn made in the snow to get home at 3.30am, its the 3 days it was in mr clutch getting finished what we couldn't that night, and he comes out with a stupid comment like take the box off again knowing that that aint gonna happen cos i couldn't do that on my own anyway and would leave me back to square one oh and emlyn took 2 days off work to do this job with me. I'm £500 quid further down the line and the box needs coming off again, i have asked gary to do this job as i have my old bearing that i can use but he obviously like me isn't capable. he could at least offer to buy a new bearing for it...
remember this..

Smithy did I hear that right. You got a touring car spec inlet manifold for free. A do not belive that for 1 second and any 1 who knows anything about cosworths will agree.
They used the rs500 for touring m8 that's why they were made. They ran 8 injectors and sell for over a thousand pound so chances are it was a standard 2wd cossie manifold. And regaurds to my cossie been ready for the strip. Yours hasn't been used in the last 3 yrs or something. Hahaha.

Sorry to say it's the risk you take using second hand bits. I have had a nightmare with loads of bits almost to the point where I half expect it to fecked!
Also, where it wasn't fitted by a garage but by an enthusiast on a snowy driveway it's hard to prove that it's been fitted 100% correct. Not a dig at anyone at all but I can see why these things often end up in a dispute. I can't see Siamblue sending you a known knackered box?
