Hey mate, I wish it was a joke, but it isn't. Glad to you give you a laugh, but that's how it is with her.

Lol. Not bad going that mind mate. 20 Years married. All the lads at work say as soon as they get a ring on the finger it gets cut down and then as soon as youve got kids thats the end of it. Lol

Thought the bonnet release was sorted simply with lubrication until today. Whilst messing with the trim between the steering wheel and the pedals, I accidentally caught the bonnet release handle and the cable snapped. Now I'm thinking that it must have been on the verge of snapping anyway.

Luckily, the bonnet had released, and I've now removed the catches so that it won't lock before I fix it. Daza-B is sending me the handle/cable, and I presume that you replace the outer and inner cable and handle. Anybody know for sure please?

You've got a good point there, but I'll see what the one from Daza-B looks like and take it from there. So did you replace just the handle to offside catch cable, or both catches with the cable between them as well please?

That's the one that I need to do. It's a barrel thing at the release handle end, so I presume that it has to be fed through from that end. Any tips/advise would be greatly appreciated, or is it easy please?

To be honest mate I hardly touched it. The inner cable was rusted up and badly frayed near the bonnet catch end. It was on it's way out, and I'm just glad that the bonnet 'popped' before it snapped.
