    Electric Seats

    Hiya guys, is the wiring already in place on non electric seat cars? so for instance can i put electric seats into a car that only has heated seats? thanks in advance

    Exactly like the pic a 12v posative and then a earth its your choice is you want a constant live or a switched live

    I wired mine up using the heated seat switch..only problem i have is heated switch needs to be on to move the seat which isnt to bad..

    I did my drivers in the 850 from the fuse board via the correct Auto Circuit Breaker, a large silver looking thingymebob which was already in the fusebox. Its some sort of safety cut out in case you squash/trap anything with the seat. It was a bit of messing about but not too bad...

    I just found a bat live under dash, put a fuse in and been fine, very easy to do, plus keeps the memory rather than a switched live.

    found the memory on mine is fine even though mines on the heated seat wires..Was a temporary thing i did so i could at least move my seats till i could wire in a proper wire
