damn this is a nice V40

Is it just me or does this V40 look amazing!?

Im loving it so much I'm going to dig out my headlight wipers this weekend and put them back on my V40, maybe invest in some smoked bumper lights and numberplate holders then give it a good wash!

I much prefer cars without the headlight wipers, gives the front a smoother look.

Very nice car though, in my fave colour for the S/V40s.

I sooooooooooo want an S40 T4 in that colour

See, I prefer it WITH the headlamp wipers. I'd stay well away from those chavvy wheels though!

Surely after having a black car, you wouldn't have another one? Total gits to keep clean.

Its really spurred me on to tidy up my T4.

Ive got a new drivers wing in grey to go on this weekend. Did have a bonnet on order but its arrived damaged so im proper gutted about that.

Going to order some smoked markers, re-fit my headlight wipers, get some numberplate surrounds and maybe a nice black leather interior because mines got the sport cloth which Im terrible at keeping clean.

Slightly lower, with some bbs or arcadias and the smoked side markers and that'll look excellent.

    Dont tempt me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont want to lower it because tbh, its an unnecessary expense I can put towards finishing my 255GLT and she handles fine.

Would love some Craters or Arcadias but Im just too cheap to buy them. Missed a couple of sets of Craters at the local scrappy but by the time they charge you for the wheel and the tyre + vat it doesnt work out much cheaper than eBay

I agree with you mark, I don't like those wheels. He must of spent some money though even the interior has been retrimmed. I'd swap my 40 for it

Man I just hope that it's been properly repaired (welded, airbags and crash systems tested, etc) - I know you said you didn't want to know the full list, but it was in a real state when I had it briefly!

I'll stop bleating on, I promise

Does look nice though Love that colour, and the grille is really menacing!

Dont worry she's all good now! Except the paintwork which Im about to address in the coming weeks.

I bought it cheap because I knew it had been in a bump previously and had a cheap repair done. Since you highlighted some issues I had it fully checked over and everything tested by the same mechanic who has always worked on our families cars for years and is an ex-Volvo mechanic. I trust his verdict too as he is the sort of guy who will tell me if I was wasting my time/money on a car not worth the hassle or driving a death trap.

Ive also spent quite a bit of time and moeny replacing things that were not right on the car but in the end I know itll never be perfect but she serves me very well on a daily basis with 109k miles on now and has certainly earned its original cost back in transporting duties in the 2 years I have owned it.
