My dad used to have one of these, in a redish colour. Always remember those latches to unlock the door inside, for some reason. Bit pricey though.

    how much!

If it's for spares or repair I guess it isn't taxed or MOT'ed therefore £1200 is taking the mickey. You would be looking at scrap value with out an MOT or tax. £400 absolute max!

Definately try and knock him down and get it!
Thoses front ends are what you'll find in the dictionary next to the words, Hens teeth. Dad used to have a 244DL auto in dark blue when I was a nipper. Used to be my grandads who bought it new. Nan gave it to dad when he died. He jammed a little 12v black and white portable between the front seats so we could watch telly in the back. Lol, Thought we were posh.

just looking at the state of the bodywork!!! good spot though fella!

been spending time on the turbobricks forum and im slowing getting the bug for one of these. it seems that in the states 240s are left in fields and you can just go and collect them. they look mint when dropped.

i have never seen a 2 door in this country!

Seen a few 262 two doors with the chopped roof in this country, although not seen any for a few years now.

1100 quid for a knackered old volvo, I know we like them here, but that a bit pricey ! You could buy a knackered 8v intergrale for that much money, propbably cost the same to make em work.

I know what Id rather have, but horse's for courses I suppose.
