Number one son is thinking of getting a 2.0 D, any advice as to what he should look out for and what constitutes high mileage?
he's looking at 100-130K miles

Thanked 1,449 Times in 1,272 PostsIt's hard to find a low mileage diesel car, cos most people buy them to do high mileage. I buy petrol or diesel V70's with 90-100k on the clock, and put around 28,000 a year on them for 3-4 years. if you can find one with 100-130k with decent service history, then I'd go for it. You can still sell them quite easily with 170-200k on the clock.
