    Is this engine ME7??

    Hiya guys just wondered if this engine is ME7, i aint sure, cheers

    ok sweet, thats my new engine for my project sorted then all i need now is a manual box and pedals etc etc

    Isnt that a throttle cable to the right of the cam cover? ME7 is an electronic throttle so no cable.

    sure i read somewhere a me7 inlet manifold flows better than a 850 manifold or is that just the exhaust manifold? Am thinkin out loud about a me7 inlet on mine with a 960 throttle body

    Easiest way I tell is the throttle cable..


    Current Garage:
    1997 960 3.0L 24v - Polestar...(Honest guv..!!)

    well yeah but if it dont sell then i get to keep it or get another one(but modify that one or get a 240 and stuff in a T5 engine)..there is a v70r in a scrap yard near me,its had a big smack in the back end and has no interior or suspension but engine is in it still..Am thinking of in the future for mods..and if I didnt advertise it wife will say I havent tried to sell it and its only advertised on here and ebay to keep wife happy

    VVT on the exhaust side for the early ones, both sides for the R models IIRC.
    19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...
