If we were to supply our own discs, we'd only need the calipers, carriers and hoses like these at the bottom of the page

I looked into the ksport kits they looked great, but what they don't tell you is that you have to pay £120 for delivery and wait 10 weeks for them to arrive. Also the standard pads aren't very gd and for different ones are over £100. They do look nice though.

With regards to the discs, he said he would supply them without the customer would like that.

    Hey guys,

Right the chap from wms, keri is currently waiting for his account to be activated.
So for the time being his give me a list of answers to some of the questions that have been asked.

'- The WMS calipers are competition items: CNC machined, anodised, 6061 T6 alloy with 4 stainless pistons each.
    - The calipers will have brackets to fit them to the hub, these are anodised 6082 T6 alloy with stainless threaded inserts.
    - M-cyl compatibility: Our calipers are available with a range of piston sizes, so we can get the bias right.
    - Website is under construction, but here it is: www.wms-brakes.co.uk
    - Pad size/area only has an effect on fade resistance due to increased mass, friction levels are not increased with area (that only applies to STATIC friction), only with force/effective radius/clamping force/coefficient of friction of the materials.
    - Other discs: The T30x as std takes a 32mm disc so the 330x32 is ideal, the T20 takes up to a 300mm disc so the 302x28 is best for that.
    - The usual "kit" would be calipers/discs/brackets+inserts/bolts. Pads and lines are extras.

Two kit types make sense to me, an entry-level (and more wheel clearance) T20/300mm kit, and a larger more expensive T30x/330x32mm option.

    LARGE KIT
T30x "discless" kit (calipers, brackets and threaded inserts, bolts) = £480+vat ESTIMATE
330x32 S60 R discs = £TBC, not available from our normal supplier, they don't seem to be cheap.
T30x pads in EBC Red are £50.70+vat
Braided lines = £TBC depending on the specs/fittings

    ENTRY KIT
T20 "discless" kit (calipers, brackets and threaded inserts, bolts) = £370+vat ESTIMATE
    302x26 C70 discs = £64.45+vat/pr
T20 pads in EBC Red are £35.37+vat
Braided lines = £TBC depending on the specs/fittings

Pads for both calipers are made by EBC, Ferodo, Mintex, Pagid, Carbotech, Hawk, Performance Friction and loads more.'

Hopefully that helps you guys out, when keri does get on im sure he will post up some pics of the products (which i must say are very impressive)

    Cheers guys bigdave

If I can find the calculations at work Dave I'll pm them to you as you can work out brake bias by knowing all the factors involved. Brake lines, length piston size, amount of calipers type of calipers and so on.

Having a kit available for the plod spec 320mm discs would be a good option aswell as it would give that bit more clearance than the S60r items and they are 30mm thick. They are found on the phase 2 60 and 70 series T5 police motors.
