Sorry if this has already been covered, not read all of the thread.
Once the Beta-test kit has been finished and fitted/run to confirm the brake lines and clearance etc on the car, what I'll do is confirm the final fixed price and take deposits for kits from the first batch. I'd want the rough timescale to be: Deposits at about the middle of the month, delivery between 1 to 2 months after that (balance due when we're ready to ship).

Cool - for the S70R the first kit will be another Beta Test, reason being that the kit is being done "for" a "96 850 T5 GLT and other compatible cars". So while I've been told it will go straight from the 850 to the S70....I will need to confirm that for myself. It should be pretty easy to do though!

Certainly interested, cant really justify £1500+ for the current kits out there. Dont drive fast anyway lol.

    Thanks guys, noted!

Ok, I've been doing some profile testing (thanks Ant) and the results are:

A - 330+323x32mm T30x caliper kit in 17" Satelite = 11mm wheel spacer (give or take a couple of mm) needed due to the thick caliper (the diameter is ok).
B - 330+323x32mm T30x caliper kit in 17" Volan = 9mm wheel spacer (give or take a couple of mm) needed due to the thick caliper (the diameter is ok).

Therefore (as the T20 caliper is a touch over 11mm thinner on each side):

    D - 310(maybe 323)x32mm T20 caliper kit in 17" Satelite = "0mm" wheel spacer (give or take a couple of mm) needed
    E - 310(maybe 323)x32mm T20 caliper kit in 17" Volan = no wheel spacer needed

    ...and...

    G - 302x26mm (C70 disc) T20 caliper kit in 17" Satelite = no wheel spacer needed
    H - 302x26mm (C70 disc) T20 caliper kit in 17" Volan = no wheel spacer needed

Not what I was hoping for in the case of the biggest kit but the T30x is a big and very stiff caliper.

So, what do people think? In simple terms it's 330mm/big caliper which needs 10mm-ish spacers vs 300-320mm/smaller caliper and no spacers.

These are 320 m/m discs with brembo calipers behind Volans with a 5 m/m wheel spacer.

I'm hoping the Titan has more room to be honest! Failing that 320x28 with the smaller caliper (no spacers) or with the larger caliper (5mm/volan or 7mm/Satelite) might be the best bet.

I'm posting some pre-cut templates to a very helpful Titan owner, fingers crossed!

Hi Keri, have you tested the 17" Titans?

what was the result for the 17" comets? Personally I'd have the 320mm calipers & no spaces.

    Thanks Dave!

Does the 850 have a removable lower balljoint, or is it part of the lower arm/wishbone? Sorry if I already asked!
