After discussing with the missus were gonna put the money into it to get it sweet as a nut, so project is a go go, however could do with speaking to somebody who has modified this engine to see what is possible, considering later in the year replacing some internals...

C70 are wierd... Only ever seen one ME7 on a C70, seen C70's on later plate than my ME7 V70 I had, but not on an ME7 :-S. That looks smart that though.

Speak to Tim Williams on T5D5. He has built many of the most powerful volvos on the forums. His work is spot on and his labour costs are a fraction of the tuners. From what I've heard, it's worth the drive, not only for the money saved on labour, but knowing you have had the job done properly.

Throttle cable or not earlier ones are easier to tune but me7's can be done as well just differently, wobbly dave has over 300bhp with his on standard internals.

I know a guy running 330bhp/490nm on standard internals. 210k on the clock ex-plod s70 on an me7. Green injectors, 19t at 1.6 bar, de-cat, streight through exhaust, decent map etc... The older ones are easier to get more power by doing simple little things like exhaust/air filter and just putting a bleed valve on. Can't get away with that on an me7 cos' if you do it the knock sensors back the throttle off to stop pre-ignition etc... I could only put my bleed valve up by 0.5 of a psi before the knock sensors backed the throttle off. Tried it on the rolling road to see if it made any difference and added 2bhp. What a waste of time lol.

Did you know the EU says that you can't claim that drinking water prevents dehydration. So now you know for sure what many of have known for years that the EU is run by a bunch of nutters.

Oh yea, if you want to go silly, Astra VXR injectors fit too. Rated at slightly higher than greens and run at 3 bar where as greens run at 3.8 so would put much more fuel in than greens. That's obviously for when you go really daft though lol.

Lovely, got her through her MOT today, not cheap , the entire nearside front suspension had collapsed, so a lot worse than i first thought... This also took the anti-roll bar with it.. oh and the magical oil leak...... HAS JUST STOPPED.. Mechanic said he cleaned around the sump so it could have been some residue from a previous oil change etc.... So now she is finally roadworthy.. TIME TOO START TUNING

Glad to hear that despite some slight hicups the car is on the road... Now you can enjoy exploring the effects of modifying the T5...
