Which is what I have, the GT3071R fits without any bulkhead mods too.

the outlet from that turbo is pointing in the wrong direction for a Volvo, not sure if they can be rotated or not

also the exhaust inlet on the Fleabay 19t looks tiny compared to a genuine 19t

Hi mate, The saabs use a T25 flange so the turbos are not compatible with our cars. I would prefer a 200k mile genuine 19t over a new China turbo though. So many horror stories of china turbos exploding after a few hundred miles.

The chinese turbos are being sold by companies on ebay for more than they cost to them as a lot of them being sold outside of China are just resellers of the chinese turbos. They work very well if you change the bearings with refurbishment kits for genuine mitsubishi items when purchased. They are just copies of genuine items and the material quality seems to be very good. I have seen two of these turbos now and they look very good and I did a spark test on the housings and the steel quality matched the genuine MHI items I had to hand, I never carried out spark tests on the wheels though as that would have damaged them.

Its the same with all non genuine parts though, you get what you pay for as it pot luck wether it lasts or doesn't.

They can be made to fit, my Garrett is a T25 flange, all I did was have to sealing ring machined off the manifold, and used a T25 spacer flange. The manifold was redrilled with pockets to allow for the bolts.

looking on the ATP site LINK they don't list a T25 with an internal wastegate, you running external? I was thinking the T3 internally wastegated 5 bolt housing would be best for us

Mine came from Owen developments, I could never get a reply from ATP either phone or email

I got their ex-display turbo, has cut-back blades, and some slight porting and a metal roller bearing, plus it was rebult once I ordered it

    This is it (I think)

I have just done the same thing for my T25 flange Holset, apart from I used a t3-t25 adaptor. The T4 has plenty of space, but I doubt you would fit an adaptor in on the T5 so what you've done sounds like the best way.

i have sparked some interesting chat. As you know i have a few t5r etc, im after a lightly modded reliable for everyday and a more faster for occasional use but still reliable.

As i have this very good low mileage engine it will get rods, obviously it will be a later finished project.

But just collecting part as the mo
