    Very true! She coped with the 150mile trek back south with ease. Engines getting a full diagnostic from IVS letchworth on Thursday. Will let you all know how the lump gets on

    if you intend on replacing the engine anyway, just drive it till it dies, the tapping will get quieter, you can still get 1000's of miles out that engine

    Tbh I'm only planning to replace the powerplant if I have to. Preferably fix what's broken if viable. Hencethe trip to the garage to find out whwhat's wrong before shelling out on repairs/replacement.

    i drove mine to spain and back last year with the same issue
