    Tbh I'm only planning to replace the powerplant if I have to. Preferably fix what's broken if viable. Hencethe trip to the garage to find out whwhat's wrong before shelling out on repairs/replacement.

    i drove mine to spain and back last year with the same issue

    This is my 850R jap import (imported 2005) 124000 miles been stood 10 month's before i got her 3 week's ago
    She need a little TLC But in no mad rush as i want the work done properly

    Took some work, lots of niggles -

    New ecu
    Brakes
    PCV service etc.
    Had a respray.
    Windows Tints
    Headlight wipes and spray repaired
    Rear wipe spray repair
    Rear Hatch gas struts

    Needs -

    Exhaust
    Wheelbearing
    Some interior stuff

    But otherwise nothing else!!

    Yeah mine has had a new wing - hopefully new front bumper going on soon too and then respray bumper wings and bonnet and rear spoiler. The rear caliper fell off when I got home from Plymouth - luckily that didn't happen on the way - had engine mounts, brakes (surprisingly) and I've got to fit my new rear hatch gas struts and sort the grille, numberplates, gearknob and exhaust. You can always find something on them to do can't you!
