    My S40 T4

    Been registered for a while but never really posted anything....

    Here's a recent pic of my T4...



    In terms of modifications, it's pretty much done and ready for some serious track action next year

    BSR stage 3, BSR Stainless Exhaust, Vibratechnics gearbox Mount, OZ 17" Superturismo Alloys, Bell FMIC, LED Side lights, LED interior Lights, Tinted Windows, Eibach Sports Springs, K&N Air Intake, 3" Sports Cat and Downpipe, Debadged, EST Strut Brace, EST Grille, Black Moose Stickers, Bilstein B8 Dampers, Fully Polybushed, CC3 all round, CF Wingmirrors

    Spec as follows (might've missed out some things):

    Power
    THS con-rods + ARP bolts
    Ported cylinder head
    New Volvo piston rings, bearings
    Shimmed liners
    KKK K24, running 1.5bar.
    550cc RC injectors
    Rebuilt fuel system, Walbro 255 fuel pump.
    Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
    80mm custom MAF to Turbo pipework
    ME7 exhaust manifold, cut and welded
    3" JT Tuning exhaust, modified to fit the K24
    Apexi Air Filter
    Devils Own Water Injection (100% water)
    55mm KL-Racing alloy intercooler
    MTE custom remap (370bhp)

    Suspension
    BC Racing coilvers
    Polybushed all round
    Rear Ultraracing ARB
    Rear Ultraracing strut brace
    Front Ultraracing strut brace

    Brakes & wheels
    8-piston K-sport front brakes
    17" Volvo VIP wheels refurbed in Mid Anthracite.

    Interior
    Stack Boost gauge
    Innovate MTX-L AFR gauge

    Loving everything - except the lack of pic!!! And those have to be the most serious specced brakes I've ever seen on a T4! Out of interest, what tyres are you running?

    Hi Mo! Already familiar with your car lol. Welcome mate. I hope to see it in the flesh soon!!

    Btw I found a used JT exhaust in the end and had it modded for the Holset similar to what you did. Saved a fortune over the custom one I was quoted for.
    Grey 855R Manual. Totally standard.

    It's weird, I flick through the members list and see names who joined in 2006, 2005 etc. and have had only a few posts and think they'd have been like me, sign up to get help fixing something, then never heard of again (although, I've hung about for 5 months now, got nout better to do I suppose ) but recently, lots of names have started reappearing on the "whose online" list.
    afzalmj seems to have reappeared with a monster! so, what else have you been playing with?

    I bought the T4 about 8 months ago, completely standard with 49k miles on the clock. It was 1/2 mile down the road from me!

    Not in any particular order, but in the last few years, I've owned

    2008 Honda Civic Type-R FD2 (Jap 4-door saloon) - best car I've ever owned without a second thought. Just a bit too hardcore for the UK roads.

    2007 Audi RS4 4.2 B7 saloon - bit of a let down IMO - way too heavy in the corners, though the 4wd will pull you out. You simply point and shoot!

    2005 Leon Cupra R modded to 270bhp - very nice car, few choice mods make them go very well indeed.

    3 Accord Type-Rs, one modded to death, fantastic handling car, always went back to them!

    Volvo 850R - manual, 18T, MTE stage 2, ...

    A couple more, but those are the most recent ones.

    This is my second T4 - the first one I bought about 5 years ago and it had a Upsolute Stage 1 remap. I think thats where my modding fetish started! It really needs to stop now, and it's quite ironic that I ended back with a T4 with the exception of a few mods

    Gripper/Quaiffe diff will be put in once the clutch goes....

    Looking forward to any localish meets!

    Yes, my old 14T/16G hybrid turbo (direct bolt on) might be up for sale. Contact Tim Williams on T5D5 as he currently has it.
