The P2 alarms suffer failures. The internal battery leaks and destroys components on the pcb. I've seen a vague how to on VOC, mine has been dead for ages. Stealth, if you wanna do a how to, please do. I, for one, would like to see it.

    how to

1st thing to do is raise the front of the car slightly.(use axle stands...keep it safe)

then remove headlight wipers (8mm nut)

then remove the plastic trim that runs along the centre of the bumper.

then undo the 12mm nut that secures the bumper to the car.

then remove the plastic clips from under the bonnet.

then drill out the rivets at each end of the bumper where it meets the inner wing liner,
    then under the bumper edge.

    how too

then loosen of the 2 torx screws a few turns...1 each side.... (5 or 6) turns,

then the bumper should pull off with a little help as it is hooked on at each end by the torx screw,so push the bumper on to the car then pull the edge of the bumper out then pull bumper off (forward).

then you should have a volvo looking a bit sad lol,
then remove the offside (driver side) headlight and the plastic trim on the front end side of the front wing,
then pull wing liner back to gain access to the siren,

    how too

undo the nut on top and bottom of siren,
it will slide forward, with the wireing plug attached,
just unplug the siren and refit the new siren in its place, then slide the new siren back into the cage, making sure you feed the wireing loom back through as you feed the siren back into its place,
then its just a case of reversing the process of removal,
the alarm kit also comes with new replacement plastic clops so dont worry it you break them when removing them, also comes with all new rivets and a bonnet latch aswell,i didnt change the latch as that isnt broken...
once you have refitted everything back onto the car it should look normal again...
iv also put the pic of the alarm kit part number.......
hope this helps someone and makes sence as i dont know how to get the pics in the propper order but iv written on the pics so it should make sence.....

When I did mine ,I only removed the o/s front tyre ,drill out some of the pop rivets on the wheel arch liner, the hard bit was to dremel off the anti tamper bolt but that only took a couple of mins.
The kit I got had the siren ,bonnet latch (that goes on n/s latch),new anti tamper bolt aswell, wheel arch black head rivets, plastic clips that you will break when doing the bonet latch.
